1. About WeTEC

WeTEC is designed to measure English communication skills in approximately 60 minutes,
and the score is displayed right after the test is completed.

2. Notes of Caution

Please read the following information carefully:

1. Please take the test during the designated period.
2. You can take the test only once. There will be no opportunity to take the test twice.
3. Please check your PC settings, system requirements, and audio equipment prior to taking the test.
4. Please allow enough time to complete the test.
    The required amount of time is approximately 60 minutes.
5. Answer all questions.
    If you do not answer all questions, your English ability will not be assessed properly.
6. After answering each question, make sure to click the 'Next' button at the bottom right-hand side
    of the screen.
7. Please do not use a dictionary.
8. Please take the test in a quiet surrounding.

3. System Requirements

Please check that your PC settings are in the required environment prior to taking the test. Use the link below.
If you take the test outside of the required environment, you may not be able to finish the test properly.
You cannot retake the test after the specified period, so please check the system requirements carefully.

Precautions for browsers which do not meet the requirements above:
- WeTEC may not function properly if the browser does not support the required environment.
- Furthermore, even though the browser supports the required environment, WeTEC might not
   function properly due to combinations of OS, browser, and antivirus software.
- If your browser does not meet the system requirements above, use a different browser or use
   a computer at Waseda University.

4. WeTEC Guided Tour

Prior to taking the WeTEC test, make sure to check the test format and procedures by clicking on the 'WeTEC Guided Tour' link below.
1. The guided tour will allow you to check the test format and procedures by answering one
    practice question each from sections 1 to 4.
2. You can view the guided tour as many times as you wish until you become familiar
    with the navigation of the test site.
3. After you feel comfortable with all steps of the test, begin the test by entering through
    the 'Login Page' and follow the test instructions.

5. Checking Your WeTEC Score

Your WeTEC score is displayed on the screen soon after the test is completed, and is converted into TOEIC score and Language Proficiency test as a guide.
*Please make sure to log out by clicking 'log out' at the top right corner of the page to complete
  the test properly.
*Your WeTEC score will be sent to your Waseda email within 5days (excluding weekends and national holidays) after the test period is over.


6. Login ID and Password

Please input the login ID and password with half-width alphanumeric.

Your login ID is your student number without the hyphen and final digit.
e.g.
If your student number on your student ID card is 1M22XXXX-Y
Your login ID is: 1M22XXXX

Your password is the first four digits of your birthday.
e.g.
If your date of birth is 2004/04/01
Your password is 0401
